Beautiful house in the heart of a coastal community in Oaxaca, 20 minutes from the Huatulco International Airport. Amazing views of the sea and lagoon, a perfect stay for people looking to find a hidden paradise full of nature and peace. When you arrive showing the respect that a place deserves, from the moment you tell the community what you are going to do without pretension, it embraces you and accepts you, which must be reciprocal.

La Sasa del Sapo began with meeting a needs program through an architectural stance that considers the context, the community, and what we will leave for future generations. It is a project that enriched itself years before even thinking about building it, a project that came through signs and intuitions, and that gradually opened doors and created bridges between people who should be united.

It is everyone’s house, it became a meeting place. Sapo is unity, a family home, a house of assistance, an inclusive house, it is a refuge, a resting place, a school, a space where children learn to swim, where they learn to release turtles, to produce a garden, a place to eat and drink mezcal, of friends, a place to grow.

The house is for 4 guests, it has two rooms with Queen-size beds, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, pool, and private parking. The architectural design with its large windows helps to have a very cool house. The house does not have air conditioning but it does have fans. In addition, Casa del Sapo works with a community garden near the house where you can harvest products to cook. Finally, the House also offers support to the community in rescuing 4 types of sea turtles.
